Ben Whistler has furnished luxury hotels, restaurants and residences around the world. If you’ve ever sipped champagne in The Connaught’s secret bar, or spent a night at Claridge’s, chances are you already know a Ben Whistler piece.
As we grew, we were surprised by how often luxury furniture just wasn’t very comfortable. For us, it’s not just about sweeping lines and gorgeous finishes, it’s also about seat height, down-fill comfort, and recline angles. Our team works tirelessly to make sure that every table, chair and sofa meets the highest standards of elegance, quality and comfort.
Every Ben Whistler piece we make has a special place in our hearts, and Blue Label is our way to share our furniture with more designers. The collection is curated but constantly evolving, suited to both residential and commercial projects. It combines pieces we’ve returned to again and again over the past 25 years, along with newer trend-driven pieces at the cutting edge of luxury design.
The Blue Label is especially suited to luxury interiors projects on shorter timelines and tighter budgets. Working with a library of pre-existing designs means we can deliver quintessential Ben Whistler quality in less time than the bespoke process. Yet, the option to use your own custom fabrics and finishes means each piece can be shaped to each designer’s creative concept.

We push industry standards with remarkably efficient production timelines, offering lead times as short as four weeks for upholstery and eight weeks for cabinetry.
We also obsess over comfort & details, ensuring every stitch is completed with intention. Sofa cushions can be made with our standard fill of 60/40 feather/down, or for ultimate comfort, entirely pure down.
From first sketch to final stitch, all of our furniture is crafted in our locations in London and Porto. We’re proud to be based in two cities with such rich traditions of furniture making.
With a classic contemporary aesthetic, the lodges feature the Cato Slipper, Crawford and Stratton chairs, plus Lyall sofas and Cosway stools. The pieces are upholstered in cotton, linen and leather, giving a relaxed but still luxurious look.
This new, luxurious concept for later living melds aspects of residential and hospitality design. Procurement company Ambience worked with Ben Whistler to source furniture for the public-facing areas of Riverstone’s first outpost, a new-build complex in Kensington.
Named The Times and The Sunday Times Hotel of the Year in 2022, The Retreat at Elcot Park is the Signet Collection hotel group’s second property to open. Ben Whistler worked with procurement company Vendor 2 Tender to turn this grade II-listed Regency mansion into an award-winning place to stay.
