From the first sketch to the final stitch, every piece of our furniture is meticulously crafted in our workshops in London and Porto. We take great pride in being based in two cities with such rich histories and traditions of furniture making, blending time-honoured craftsmanship with modern design. Each location brings its unique expertise to the process, ensuring the highest level of quality and attention to detail in every piece we create.
London is our home. It’s where Ben Whistler began and it’s from here that we design, manage and put finishing touches on our furniture. Prospective clients are always welcome to visit our showroom in Chelsea to chat to our team and view our pieces.
Our factory sits in the heart of Paços de Ferreira, Europe’s capital of furniture. We moved into our current facility in 2019 and expanded it 70,000 sq ft in 2020. Since then every single piece of Ben Whistler furniture has gone through its doors.
The factory floor has a space for every kind of technique – from sandblasting to 3D printing – and many of our artisans practise traditional crafts that have been in their families for generations. We love it when clients come to soak in its industrious atmosphere and see the crafting process in action.
