A pebble’s throw from St Ives, the Carbis Bay hotel is a quintessential Cornish retreat. When it came to getting the look right for its new beach lodges – luxury accommodation that sits right on the golden sands – design manager Robin Daines specified several pieces from Blue Label’s collection of seating.
With a classic contemporary aesthetic, the lodges feature the Cato Slipper, Crawford and Stratton chairs, plus Lyall sofas and Cosway stools. The pieces are upholstered in cotton, linen and leather, giving a relaxed but still luxurious look. Blue Label by Ben Whistler is now working with the same team on the refurbishment of eight suites in the main hotel.
