Our handmade luxury armchairs are crafted from premium materials in our factory in Portugal, where every piece is built with comfort, elegance and longevity in mind. Ben Whistler’s exceptional attention to craftsmanship comes as standard: we select the type of springing best suited to the style of each chair, from coil to zig-zag to superloop. Seat cushions feature a foam core encased in a feather and down wrap, offering both structure and comfort. Back cushions are filled exclusively with feather and down for a naturally soft, indulgent feel. Simply supply your own fabric and select one of our standard timber finishes, and your made to order armchair will be ready in just 5–6 weeks.

Every Blue Label armchair is made to order, allowing designers to specify every detail to achieve the perfect fit for their scheme. We welcome COM (customer’s own material) upholstery, giving you freedom over colour, pattern and texture. Timber finishes for the legs or bases can be chosen from our curated palette, and additional details such as studs can be added where appropriate.

Yes, all of our armchairs are made to order and upholstered in the fabric you provide. Please ensure all fabrics are treated to me the FR (fire retardant) standards of your project
Lead times are usually 5–6 weeks from receipt of fabric and approval of finishes.
